About Aaron the developer
I build custom FiveM scripts for other servers, and I run Freedom Roleplay, where you can see my own work live.
Aaron is a freelance FiveM developer. He builds and runs Freedom Roleplay, a live Dutch Qbox server, and takes on custom scripts, server setups and performance work for other servers. Before Freedom he built and ran Alberti Roleplay on ESX Legacy, with 50+ custom scripts.
Freedom Roleplay (FDRP) is a Dutch FiveM roleplay server on Qbox and the ox stack, live since 27 September 2026, which Aaron designs, builds and runs.
I am Aaron, a freelance FiveM developer. I write custom scripts, set up servers and find out why they lag, and I design, build and run Freedom Roleplay, a Dutch roleplay server on Qbox and the ox stack.
What I do
- Custom scripts: jobs, police tools, minigames, NUI and admin tools, written for your server on Qbox and ox, ESX Legacy or standalone, and handed over with the source.
- Server setup: framework, database, txAdmin, permissions, backups, a separate development server and a release routine, on your own VPS or hardware.
- Performance and fixes: resmon diagnostics, script and database work, and the number before and after every change.
Freedom Roleplay
Freedom Roleplay (FDRP) has been live since 27 September 2026 and runs 41 custom resources, 46 physical minigames and 140 custom 3D models.
Police work runs through MEOS, a custom police tablet. Sixteen border posts with ANPR close the roads between the city and the county. Hands-on job steps are physical minigames with original art, and every imported car is road-tested by a script before it reaches the store. The case pages go through eight of these systems: the problem, how it works and what made it hard.
The server's interfaces are in Dutch, because that is its language. freedomroleplay.nl links to its Discord.
Before Freedom
Before Freedom I built, hosted and maintained Alberti Roleplay, a full ESX Legacy roleplay server, solo, on dedicated hardware I administered myself. It had 100 peak players, 40 to 50 daily active players and 99.9% uptime while live, and its 50+ custom scripts covered the HUD, admin panel, coin shop, jobs, crime and emergency services. Alberti Roleplay was sold as a going concern in 2026.
36 of those scripts are kept as an archive under Earlier work on the homepage.
How I work
- Server-authoritative. The server validates every reward, item and state change. A client event is a request, not a fact, and lag or a human mistake is rejected and logged, never banned.
- Tested before it ships. On Freedom, every change is built on a separate development server and goes live through one release tool that backs up what it replaces and can roll it back.
- Measured, not guessed. Each resource targets 0.00 ms idle and at most 0.10 ms active in resmon, and performance work comes with the number before and after each change.
- Source included. No obfuscation, no escrow and no license server. You own what you paid for and you are not tied to me to keep it running.
- Remote and async, in English or Dutch. Discord is fastest, mail works too, and I usually respond within a few hours.
Hiring me
Send a short brief: your framework and version, what the script should do and must not do, how many players are online at peak and who maintains it after delivery. The guide on what to send before asking for a quote has a template you can copy.
You get a fixed quote before I start, two revision rounds inside the agreed scope and one week of free support for bugs and small adjustments after delivery.
Common questions
Is Freedom Roleplay your server?
Yes. I design, build and run it. It is a Dutch roleplay server on Qbox and the ox stack, live since 27 September 2026, and freedomroleplay.nl links to its Discord. The systems marked live on this site run there.
How long have you been building for FiveM?
Since 2023, so more than three years. Before Freedom Roleplay I built and ran Alberti Roleplay on ESX Legacy, with 50+ custom scripts. It was sold in 2026, and the archive is under Earlier work on the homepage.
Can I hire you if my server is not Dutch?
Yes. I work remotely and async over Discord or mail, in English or Dutch, so where your server or your players are does not change how we work. The custom scripts page explains what that work covers.
Are you open to a long-term role on a server?
Yes. Next to one-off projects I am open to a long-term or part-time place on a bigger server's development team, paid per month. Tell me what the server runs on and what you need, and we can start with one paid project to see if it works for both sides.
